What do my drivers' different statuses mean?

Written by Marine Bourdain

In your dashboard view:

  • Awaiting registration: Your employee hasn't created an account yet. This license isn't billed to you until the employee takes action.

Good practice: these are often users who don't need the service, or who missed the invitation email, it may help to send a reminder.

  • Driver action required: The employee has created their account (a billed license), but hasn't finished setting up their home and/or vehicle, so we can't track their charging yet.

Good practice: these employees are often interested but need a nudge to finish setting up. Don't hesitate to follow up!

  • Voltaback action in progress: It's on us to finish setting up the home or vehicle, sometimes with manual review or by working with our data provider.

In this case, we may need some information from the driver and be waiting on their response.

In the "Drivers" view, the status column shows:

  • Awaiting registration (inactive license): no action taken by the driver yet.

  • Driver action required: click the driver's profile for details on what still needs to be set up.

  • Voltaback action in progress: click the driver's profile for details.

  • Operational: everything is in place for us to start tracking the employee's home charging.

Why does onboarding still show as in progress when the status is operational? Our rule is that onboarding is complete once the driver's first home charging session has happened.
