In addition to the legal entity, the app lets you use cost centers to refine your accounting reports.
The legal entity attaches expenses to the right company.
The cost center lets you break down charging sessions within that company (by department, team, project, site, etc.).
Unlike the legal entity, it's not mandatory to attach a cost center to a driver.
Managing cost centers
Log in to your fleet manager account.
Click Company Settings, then Billing, then Cost Centers.
Create, edit, or delete cost centers here.
Assigning a cost center to an existing driver
Go to Drivers and select the row for the driver you want to edit.
Click the entity name in the Legal Entity column.
Assign the desired cost center (you can create one on the fly).
Where do cost centers appear in reporting?
Cost centers are visible in the Excel file of statements attached to your Voltaback invoice.
