Voltaback retrieves rates from the electricity bill
When setting up their account, the driver uploads their most recent electricity bill. Our system automatically extracts:
the kWh price
the rate structure (standard rate, peak/off-peak hours, Tempo, EJP, etc.)
the exact peak/off-peak time windows from the meter
All contract types are supported, including specific rates like Tempo or EJP.
Why reimburse at the actual rate?
A fairer cost for the company — off-peak hours are taken into account, which are often cheaper than a flat rate based on regulated pricing.
Better compliance with URSSAF rules — the reimbursement matches the driver's actual expenses exactly, with no over- or under-reimbursement.
What happens if the electricity rate changes?
Voltaback asks the employee to update their contract once a year, to keep the most recent rates on file. If the driver changes contract, they can update their bill directly from their Voltaback driver account.
