A leave period marks a period during which you don't want your charging sessions reimbursed (for example, personal holidays). Charges made during this period are excluded from your reimbursement.
An exception does the opposite: it makes a period reimbursable that wouldn't normally be (for example, a business trip on a weekend). The related charges are included in your reimbursement.
When should you use them?
Going on personal leave and don't want your charges reimbursed during that time → add a leave period.
Working or driving for work outside your usual hours (weekend, public holiday, evening) → add an exception.
Where do I add them?
Go to your driver account, in the reimbursement section. There, you can declare a period and specify whether it's a leave period (not reimbursable) or an exception (reimbursable).
Why don't I have access to this?
It's your fleet manager who decides whether to give you the option to add leave periods and exceptions — they can enable one, both, or neither. If you don't see this option, your company hasn't turned it on for you; reach out to them if you think you need it.
